Rousseau Volleyball Tryouts

Dear Rousseau Families,

Rousseau will be running a competitive mixed, grade 5 and 6 volleyball team.

Players met with Miss Ali and Mr. Peters today to discuss tryout expectations.

Girls Tryout – October 4th, NBI and Oct 12th NB1

Boys Tryout – October 5th NB2, Oct 10th NB1

The team will be comprised of (8) boys and (8) girls.  The top volleyball athletes will be selected based on the following criteria;

-ability to take direction

-aggressiveness and quickness, moving to the ball

-co-ordination

-power, to get the ball over the net.

Players were encouraged to discuss possible scheduling conflicts.  Season games will be once per week, on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and will finish around 5:00pm.
