Hold and Secure Drill

The term “Hold and Secure” is used when there is a safety situation in the neighbourhood not related to the school.  As part of our Secure School Protocol, the staff and students practice these drills throughout the school year. Prior to each drill, teachers will have age appropriate discussions regarding the drill and their expectations. To ensure that there is no confusion, these rehearsals are clearly identified as drills via an announcement.  We have planned a Hold and Secure Drill for Friday, October 14th, 2022.
