MacNab will be hosting a virtual Grade 7&8 Information Night on Wed. Nov. 25th from 7:00 – 9:00p.m. This session will be hosted through MS Teams, but it will be through a method called Teams Live. Participants will be able to enter the room without having to login in and participants do not need to download software (it is accessible by clicking on the web address for the invite and it will open in a browser). This link will be live on the night of the information session.

Participants can join the event by clicking on the link (hwdsb.info/macnab) in the attached PDF flyer (the one that shows the dates for ALL schools) OR by copying hwdsb.info/macnab directly into a web browser (they will then be taken directly into the live meeting).

This year’s virtual event will be informative, engaging, and interactive! Students and their guardians/parents will learn about any incredible specialized programming, diverse pathway options, and dynamic co-curricular opportunities.

Attendees will connect with each high school’s administration team, guidance, learning resource and student success leaders, but they will also hear directly from Student Ambassadors, including several amazing grade 9s, all of whom are excited to speak to their experiences and share storiesabout their transitions to high school. There will be opportunities for Q&Aas well as some virtual school tours.  Some schools may also offer an interactive Trivia Kahoot… with prizes!
