Parents are asked to call the school and leave a message on the answering machine before 8:40 a.m. and/or 1:50 p.m. if your child is going to be late or absent (905-545-6216).
If your child does not arrive at school by the time attendance is taken, and there is no notification of your child’s absence or late arrival, a phone call will be placed to your home to ascertain your child’s whereabouts.
It is important for all children to be on time each day. This not only leads to a better, more organized start to the day for your child, it also means that your child’s class is not disrupted by a latecomer. It is understood that, on occasion, a child may arrive late due to an appointment or other special circumstance. However, it is expected that every effort will be made by parents to limit such occurrences and to encourage regular, prompt arrival at school.
