Monday, September 30, 2024, is Orange Shirt Day, which is also known as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We encourage HWDSB students and staff to wear orange to school and work on Monday, September 30 to honour survivors of Residential Schools and to center the importance of intergenerational healing and wellness. For students and staff who do not have an orange shirt, and wish to participate, we will provide them with an Orange Shirt Day sticker.
