Grade 3-6 Track & Field

Congratulations to the 2024 Lincoln Track and Field team who competed in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board Meet on Friday June 21. A team of 39 students went to run at Mohawk Sports Park on a very hot day.  All runners displayed outstanding heart, determination and dedication both at the meet and at the practices leading up to the meet. Lincoln had some outstanding results with a number of runners finishing with personal bests and improving their times and positions from practice. We also had a large number of students finish in the top 5 in their races. These students were:

Rahaf A – Gr 6 girls Long Jump

Julia G – Gr 5 girls 80m

Eli S – Gr 6 boys 300m and long jump

Mira Y – Gr 3 girls long jump

Celestine B – Gr 6 girls 100m

Travis G – Gr 6 boys 700m

The team would like to thank Mr. Pitkeathly, Mr. Blonski, Ms. M and Ms. Smith for helping with the team as well as all the parents who came out and supported them.
