Grade 3-6 Cross Country

Congratulations to the 2023 Lincoln Cross Country team who competed in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board Meet on Thursday October 12th. A team of 63 students went to run at Christie Conservation Area on a beautiful sunny fall day.  All runners displayed outstanding heart, determination and dedication both at the meet and at the practices leading up to the meet. Lincoln had some outstanding results with a number of runners improving their times and positions from practice. We also had a large number of students finish in the top 20 in their races. These students were:

Dominic E. – 5^th place Grade 3 boys

Evan H. – 13^th place Grade 3 boys

Clark R. – 16^th place Grade 5 boys

Jackson M.     – 17^th place Grade 4 boys

Julia G. – 2^nd place Grade 5 girls

The team would like to thank all the parents who volunteered to help up on the trip as well as all the parents who came out and supported the team at the meet. Also a big thanks goes out to Mrs. Maudsley, Ms. Duemm, Mr. Richardson, Mr. Blonski, Ms. M and Mrs. Moulton for their help at the meet and with practices.
