Lincoln Alexander June News & Updates

Principal’s Message…

I can hardly believe that it is already the end of June and we are heading into the last day of school. As we come to the close of another successful year here at Lincoln Alexander School, I would like to thank all staff, students and parents for their energy, perseverance and dedication in making this school year a great one! As I reflect on this year, I am sure that it is one we will never forget – we made history! While the last few months have been difficult, as schools were closed and we were working and learning from home because of a global pandemic, there are still so many things to celebrate and be thankful for. This situation has been hard, but know that we’ll get through this, and all of us at Lincoln are here to help. Even though our year together may have been cut short, our accomplishments were not!

We have many things to celebrate this year and I am very proud of the work that we have done as a school community. I was blown away by the leadership our students demonstrated on a daily basis and inspired by the efforts they put into making our school such a great place to be! From our LINC assemblies and Holiday Concert, to our many artistic, charitable and athletic achievements, our talented students continue to put forth their best efforts and impress! Our school staff was instrumental in the planning and coaching of many of these activities – thank you for giving of your time and skills!

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the many parents and members of our school community who have given generously of their time, energy and talents to benefit the students of Lincoln Alexander School. Volunteer contributions have made a positive impact on the lives of our students. Thank you for making a difference – together we really are better!

As we head towards the last virtual day of the school, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy summer and I look forward to seeing everyone in September!

Sincerely,

V Prpa

Principal

Report Cards…

Report cards will begin being delivered starting on Thursday, June 25th and onwards.

Please note that the report card parents, caregivers, and guardians receive is an unofficial document as it is not signed. A printed, signed copy will be provided in the fall when we re-open. Further details will be provided in September.

We will send report cards, as a secure document, using SchoolMessenger’s email feature. When you receive the email, you will need your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN) to verify access to the report card. You can find your child’s OEN on a previous progress report or report cards. If you are unable to find your OEN, please contact the school.

Parents/caregivers, please ensure that your current email is on file by logging into your SchoolMessenger account registered with our school, to receive the report card. If in doubt, please contact the school by submitting your email address through the contact form on our school website. If you have questions, please call 905-527-5092 or email [email protected].
