Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

The first day of school is just around the corner!  Most students will start on Tuesday, September 3^rd.  A reminder that Senior Kindergarten students do NOT start school until Wednesday, September 4^th.  On Tuesday, we will be welcoming our JK students only for their orientation visits.  If your child is starting Junior Kindergarten and you did not receive your post card or are unsure of your visit time, please call the school for confirmation.

School starts promptly at 8:20 am and the playground opens for students at 8:05 am. Students should not arrive to school before that time. On the first day of school students will gather on the back playground, where staff will help students find their class entry line.

8:20 am – Entry Bell

8:20 am – 9:20 am Period 1

9:20 am – 10:00 am Period 2

10:00 am – 10:40 am Nutrition Break #1

10:40 am – 11:30 am Period 3

11:30 am – 12:20 pm Period 4

12:20 pm – 1:00 pm Nutrition Break #2

1:00 pm – 1:40 pm Period 5

1:40 pm – 2:40 pm Period 6

2:40 pm Dismissal

Transportation delays may be experienced during start up; your co-operation and understanding is greatly appreciated during the first few days and weeks of school.  If you did not receive your transportation information, please call Hamilton Wentworth Transportation Services at 1-800-691-6402. Please note: If you do not live within the boundaries for bussing, a Courtesy Transportation Form will need to be completed and approved before your child begins to ride the bus. If you require a Courtesy Transportation Form, please see us in the office.

For a smooth dismissal, please be sure to go over the dismissal routine for your child.

• Bussers: Please ensure JK students come with their bus tag attached to their backpacks.  Older students need to know their bus route # and drop-off stop locations.
• Day Care:  Please ensure students know their schedule (go to Day Care everyday) or provide a calendar to the teacher.
• Pick Up:  Please arrange the pick up spot where you will meet your child after school.
