HWDSB COVID-19 Updates – January 2021: Introducing a new format to HWDSB’s COVID-19 updates. Each month’s update will help families navigate their way through COVID-19 information. HWDSB will continue to share urgent and timely information outside this monthly summary when required. The update features sections on public health measures and learning at HWDSB, in addition to updates from the Chair of the Board and the Director of Education. HWDSB Seeks Feedback on its 2021-2022 Budget Priorities: HWDSB is looking to hear from the community about how it should align its budget priorities for next year. The 2021/2022 Preliminary Budget priorities focus on: Special Education; Mental Health and Well-Being; Improving Student Achievement; 21st Century Learning; and School Revitalization. Dawn Danko, Chair of the Board said: “We’re inviting student, staff, family and community input as we shape the priorities for next year’s budget. This is an opportunity to further our goal of all students learning and growing to their full potential. We cannot achieve this goal without the diverse participation of our school communities.”
