New School

A Happy New Year to all families.

Hopefully you are all following the updates from the school board with regards to the new start up.

As you know, school will start up remotely for all students with the exception of students in our Special Education class.

REMOTE LEARNING

Your children’s teachers will be connecting with students through the HUB and TEAMS sites, in the same way they did from March until June. If you are having any difficulty with that connection- please contact your child’s teacher directly. Teacher emails are listed on this site under STAFF.

DEVICES
A number of families indicated that they would need a device in order for their children to participate in on-line learning. Those iPads have just been prepared and are ready for distribution on Monday January 4th. Families whose children require a device will be contacted directly with a pick up time. These devices are not cellular enabled. If your family requires a cellular enabled device, please send an email to [email protected], and the school will request these from the Board. As a school- we never purchase these, so do not have them readily available to loan.

PICK UP

When you arrive to pick up the iPad on January 4th, please make your way to the front door. The iPad will be brought to you in a sealed bag. When you arrive at the front door, please call 289 345 4556, and someone will bring it out to you. With the iPad will be some documents for you to agree to regarding the loan of the iPad and an Acceptable Use Agreement. The iPads will need to be returned on the next day we are back at school  for face-to-face learning.

Not all iPads have cords. Once we receive some- we will arrange a pick up of a charger cord if you need one.
