DD Class

The staffing process at the HWDSB is underway and will not be complete until the end of June. We will not be able to confirm our staff complement until this process is completed.

Class Building

Your child’s teacher, along with the Learning Resource team and Administration will soon be working to build classes for the 2020-2021 school year. To do this we use an extensive and collaborative process to help ensure that classes reflect a balance of ability and interest as well as meet students’ social/emotional and behavioral needs. Please be aware that requests for specific teachers and/or for particular groups of students to remain together are not accepted, as we take great pains to make sure every child gets a good fit. However, if as a parent you have some important/new information to share which may impact class placement decisions (i.e., a medical diagnosis, or significant negative peer relationship etc.) please communicate this in writing to Ms. Hensen by May 24^th.
