 World Down Syndrome Day – Rock Your Socks Spirit Day: On Friday, March 21st, we will be recognizing World Down Syndrome Day at Gordon Price School. This day is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome.  Our school community is enriched by the diversity and unique contributions of all our students. On this special day, we will be taking the opportunity to educate our students about Down syndrome, emphasizing the importance of acceptance, understanding, and inclusion.  In addition, our school Spirit team is encouraging us all to wear brightly coloured or mismatched socks on Friday, March 21^st to symbolize and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.

Safe Arrival and Dismissal: Our school day begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m. Gordon Price staff are on duty to supervise safe arrival of students on the back-playground area from 8:15 – 8:30 a.m. and safe dismissal from 2:50 – 3:05 p.m.

Please drop off your children at school before 8:30 a.m. so that they have enough time to walk to the back playground and line up with their classes for safe entry. Thanks in advance for helping to ensure that your child arrives to school on time and is ready to start their day in a positive way!

 Bus Pick-Up and Drop-Off Zone:  Please be reminded that the bus pick-up and drop-off zone by the front doors must remain clear at all times. Blocking or parking in this area poses safety risks and disrupts transportation services.

We kindly ask you to use designated parking areas and follow school traffic signage and guidelines. Your cooperation is essential for maintaining a safe environment for our students. We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter.  Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

School Council: Our next School Council Meeting is taking place on Tuesday, April 8^th at 6:30 pm in the Gordon Price Library – all are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there!
