Indigo Adopts Franklin Road!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We would like to personally invite you to join me in making a difference in the lives of the students at Franklin Road Elementary School by supporting us in this year’s Adopt a School fundraiser, hosted by the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.

Every year, schools across Canada have the opportunity to apply for the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation’s Adopt a School Fundraiser, in which Indigo, Chapters, and Coles stores fundraise on behalf of a single elementary school. We are thrilled to announce that our school was selected to participate in this year’s fundraiser and will be supported by Indigo Brant and Indigo Heritage Greene from September 13 – October 6, 2024. These stores will be fundraising on our behalf. During this time, our school community will also be raising funds to support our library through our online fundraising page https://indigoloveofreadingfoundation.givecloud.co/fundraisers/franklin-road-elementary-school

Our school will receive every dollar raised during these three weeks and will receive a 30% discount off books when shopping at Indigo, Chapters, and Coles using fundraising donations. We are hoping to raise enough money to put one new book into the hands of each one of our students!

From September 13 – October 6 please feel free to share our school’s online fundraising page with your community and shop at these stores if you can. We will also send out reminders and updates through our Instagram account.

We look forward to filling our school shelves with new and diverse books following this fundraiser!
