Good afternoon, 

We would like to begin this message by thanking our amazing students at Franklin Road for having such a positive start to the school year. Our students have come with a refreshed mindset and a positive outlook. 

That being said, we do have safety concerns around the staff parking lot being used as a drop-off or pick-up area. This space is small and presents several hazards when many cars are reversing in and out to drop off or pick up children. As a school community, we want to ensure Franklin Road is safe for all our families and children to access.

Going forward, at 8:15 the parking lot entrance will be blocked off with pylons to ensure additional cars are not accumulating. If you are dropping off students an alternative location to consider could be along Franklin Road or East 27th Street.
