Letter to Families regarding incident

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is a letter to inform you that police visited our school in response to an incident today at about 10:15 a.m.

One student injured another student, who was transported to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Staff held the student in question until police arrived to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Police have an individual in custody and they continue to investigate.

As with all matters of student safety, we have taken this very seriously.

We thank Hamilton Police Service for their response.
