As we continue to prepare for students to return to BCSS, parents/guardians should be aware of the following:

• Parents/guardians must access the Parent Portal to see their student’s timetable and assigned cohort/track. Students will need to attend class on the day their cohort is scheduled to attend.
• Remote orientation begins Sept. 11th: Period 1, Cohort A and B students will meet remotely with their teachers and all students will begin to connect with their Period 2,3, and 4 teachers remotely in the afternoon.
• The first day of in-person instruction is Monday September 14th for Grade 9 and 10 Students in Cohort A. 
• The first day of in-person instruction is Tuesday September 15th for Grade 9 and 10 Students in Cohort B. 
• Students in Grades 9 to 12 in Cohort A will attend school in-person on Wednesday September 16th. 
• Students in Grades 9 to 12 in Cohort B will attend school in-person on Thursday September 17th.
• Parents / guardians must complete the Attestation in the Parent Portal indicating that they agree to monitor their students health and suitability to attend school on a daily basis. This attestation must be completed before a student is permitted access to the school.
• Students will be required to wear a face covering while on school property and in the building. Bandanas and neck gaitors are not suitable face coverings. If a parent would like for their student to be exempt from wearing a mask, they will do so using Parent Portal.
