Balaclava School Update – Week of April 28 – May 2

Our Junior Girls Basketball Team has made it to the second round of the playoffs and will play this week. Good luck, girls!

Grade 4 to 6 students will participate in an Indigenous Games workshops on Tuesday.

Balaclava’s concert band will be heading to Bandfest this week for performance and adjudication.

Kindergarten to Grade 4 students will be participating in Bandology music workshops in their classrooms later this week, thanks to funding from the Balaclava Home and School.

Thank you to all of the families who donated boxes of cereal in the last few weeks. We raised 551 boxes! Weather permitting, we’ll set those boxes up later this week for a playground-sized domino run before donating the cereal to the Flamborough Food Bank.
