Balaclava School Update – Week of February 17th

Another week, another snow day! Due to the school cancellation on February 13th, the Primary Concert has been rescheduled to Friday February 21st at 2:15. We’ll start letting parents and caregivers into the school at 1:55 to get seated. Our older students will get to watch the dress rehearsal performance earlier in the day so there will be lots of room for the adults who would like to watch the performance. A big thanks to Mrs. McIntosh for all her work to make this concert happen.

Report cards for Grades 1 to 8 students and Communications of Learning for JK and SK students will be coming home with your child on Thursday February 20th. This provides some assessment information about the first term of learning for your child. If you have any questions about the marks or comments, or need more information, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

A reminder that Monday February 17th is Family Day and the school is closed for the day. Enjoy your long weekend!
