Bobcat Day – World Map

Our Bobcats are getting excited about tomorrow’s Bobcat Day world map activity!

We will be creating a map of the world for our front hall.

Mr. Milum (a Balaclava parent) has designed and donated a segmented large scale map of the world so that each student will have a piece to paint. He will then assemble the pieces to form the map. The map will be mounted in our front hall.

This map will replace the Stand Up, Speak Out heart that was completed during November 2012.

Our new world map will be symbolic of each of our students having a place in the world.  Our students will each also receive a piece of the world to paint and take home as a keepsake!
