WDHS Basketball Camp for Grades 6-8
WDHS is excited to partner with HWDSB Continuing Education to offer two programs that will be run in-person by WDHS staff at WDHS this summer.
Program 1: Basketball and Numeracy @ WDHS in-person
Description:
This program focuses on developing basketball skills (dribbling, shooting, passing, ….) through drills and full court games. In addition, participants will improve their numeracy skills by exploring mathematical concepts associated with basketball (percentages, ratios, graphical analysis, ….)

Program 2: Coding and Numeracy @ WDHS in-person

Description:
This program is an introduction to coding. Students we learn how to program in Python and explore game development in Scratch. No coding experience is necessary.
