Halloween “Fun”raiser

Thursday, October 31st will be our fourth annual Halloween Dance “Fun”-raiser!  Student Council will be our DJ’s for the day with Christie McKay-Hofland from Dancemakerz leading cool dances.  There will also be Halloween mystery sensory boxes, costumes, prizes, and best of all lots of FUN!  That’s right, we DO want students to come to school in their costumes, after all, this is a Halloween Dance “Fun”-raiser.  All students will have the opportunity to participate in this fun day!!!

Why Are We Doing This?                                         

School Council is excited to raise funds towards the building of an outdoor classroom. The classroom is expected to be ready within the next 2 years for all of our students to enjoy. See beside for a sample picture of what the classroom might look like.

Students:

All you have to do is talk to your family and friends and ask them to sponsor you for the Dance “Fun”-raiser.  *Please do not go door-to-door.* Have them fill out the pledge sheet and return it to the school in a sealed envelope by Tuesday, October 29th.  Cheques should be made payable to Allan A. Greenleaf.  Class that raises the most money wins a pizza party.

Prizes:

There will be lots of draws during the day and EVERYONE will be entered into a participation draw of $25.00 Amazon gift cards BUT if you bring in pledges than you will be given an extra ballot to win the gift cards.

Dance “Fun”-raiser Schedule:

9:05am-10:05am Halloween Parade for Kindergarten to Grade 4’s Outside the back of the school – weather permitting
10:05am – 10:35am Dance in gym – K1, K5 & K6
10:35am – 11:05am Dance in gym – K2, K3 & K4
11:50am – 12:20pm Dance in gym – Grades 1 & 2
12:20pm – 12:50pm Dance in gym – Grades 3 & 4
12:50pm – 1:20pm Dance in gym – Grades 5
  2:05pm – 3:25pm Dance in gym – Grade 6 – 8
