Terry Fox Run

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Our annual Terry Fox Run/Walk will take place during the week of Oct 12th – Oct 16^th. The students and staff of Adelaide Hoodless will take part in the annual Terry Fox Run/Walk. The event is part of a nationwide fundraiser for cancer research. This year’s event will look different than in the past due to Covid restrictions. The walk will take place during each individual classes Phys. Ed period. Unfortunately, we will not be travelling to Gage Park for the event, we will remain at the school and use the playground for our event. Although, we won’t be collecting money at the school this year due to Covid restrictions, donations can be made directly using the following link  http://www.terryfox.ca/AdelaideHoodlessPSHamilton

The students will be learning about this amazing Canadian hero throughout this week and next week. The Terry Fox Charity is a great charity with a 4-star rating with .73 cents of every dollar raised going directly to cancer research.
