CBC Song Contest: Grades 1-6

Grade 1-6 classes have decided to take part in the CBC Music Class Challenge 2018, along with their Rousseau music teachers. What this means is that students and schools from all across Canada are submitting (by YouTube) a Canadian “pop” song. From the list of possible songs provided by the CBC, our school has decided to sing “If I Had a Million Dollars” by The Barenaked Ladies. We will perform the song en masse in a casual “recording session”, with every student from grade 1 to 6!  Any students without photo consent may still choose to take part by standing behind another student so that their face is not on camera. We are excited to take part and will have fun putting the video together.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s music teacher. Thank you for your continued support. We will be submitting our video by Friday Nov 27th, 2017.

You can read about this fun, pop-song challenge at the following link: CBC Music Class Challenge.
