Halloween at Riddell

On Tuesday, October 31, students will have an opportunity to join in on the Halloween celebrations throughout the school.

To allow students to participate in the school day prior to the start of the Halloween celebrations, we ask that parents send costumes to school in a bag. We ask parents to assure that costume accessories such as weapons stay home and that costumes do not impede safe movement around the building.

Our grade 1 to 3 students will be participating in a parade throughout the school beginning at about 1:40 p.m. Parents and family members can watch the parade from the small gym.  The students will be walking through the upstairs classrooms first, so please be patient until they arrive in the small gym.

Finally, a reminder that treats sent into the school must be nut-safe.  Although this is one of our days allocated as exempt from the nutrition policy, healthy treats are still recommended.
