Also, please ensure your child is dressed in comfortable clothing and has lots of water to keep cool for the upcoming week.  As we are under a heat advisory, the building will be very warm. Please send lots of water as opposed to pop or other sugary drinks. Water is more hydrating and does not attract pests when spilled. The yellow jackets are very bad this year and the heat is making it worse. The yellow jackets are attracted to sweet drinks. Please do not send sweet drinks with your child or have them bring it onto the playground.  We have many students who are stung on a daily basis.
