Remote Elementary School Parent Night

Consider joining us on Tuesday, December 8, from 7 to 8 p.m. for the Remote Elementary School’s Parent Night. The meeting will be held through MS Teams at hwdsb.info/remotenight.

This is a night for families who have students currently enrolled in the remote learning program to attend an online session to find out more about the HWDSB Elementary Remote Learning Program.

Staff from the school will go over the following topics to help parents:

• The Remote Learning Program structure and who to contact
• Support structures in place to assist students
• An overview of the MS Teams and the HUB learning platforms
• Digital Citizenship
• How to address parent concerns
• Technology troubleshooting tips and tricks

In preparation for the Remote Elementary School Paren Night, we are asking for parent feedback about any questions you may have. We hope to be able to address these questions during the meeting. Please fill out a short survey by midnight on Monday, December 7, so we can ensure we cover the areas you have questions about.
