Steering Commmitte

The Steering Committee meets regularly throughout the school year and is responsible for program management and continuous improvement. Members include decision makers from the board of education, host business,  employment service provider, and community agencies.

The purpose of the Steering Committee is to:

  • Provide leadership to the program.
  • Develop a strategic plan.
  • Problem solve big issues such as recruitment, onsite team support, marketing, and employment outcomes.
  • Problem-solve challenges regarding interns, funding, staffing, etc.
  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement
  • Focus on and strategize for increasing employment outcomes
  • Assist with intern recruitment and selection
  • Assist with internal and external marketing
  • Conduct yearly self-audits for ongoing quality improvement.
