Guy Brown Letter – Relocation Mar 10 2022

Dear Guy Brown families,

We wanted to let you know that we relocated some classes in our school today after noticing a crack on the upper floor of our building.

As you may know, our school’s masonry has experienced some non-structural cracking in the past.

To be extra safe, today we moved students and staff from the affected areas to another part of the school or outside for DPA.

HWDSB Facilities staff visited the site along with a structural engineer before dismissal and assured us that it is safe.

We wanted to let you know about the disruption for some classes and look forward to seeing students at Guy Brown tomorrow.
