Pink Shirt Day

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, HWDSB students and staff will join in celebrating Pink Shirt Day. Wearing a pink shirt is one small but powerful way for us to show that we stand together against bullying of all kinds and that it has no place in our schools and communities. This year’s theme is Lift Each Other Up focusing on having a greater acceptance, respect, and inclusion for everyone.

What can we do to participate in Pink Shirt Day?

• Proudly wear a pink shirt
• Start a conversation about kindness and inclusion
• Design your own pink shirt logo or slogan
• Create an anti-bullying school banner for all students and staff to sign
• Practice random acts of kindness all day long
