WELCOME BACK!

Hello to all Spring Valley students and families!

I have finally gained access to the Spring Valley website and would like to extend my apologies for the late introduction as well as my heartfelt appreciation to all of the parents I have connected with as they have welcomed me into this new school community. I sent out an email message last week but am now aware that some parents received it while others did not, so I will include that information below. Technology is great when it works!

Our staff have been working very hard over the past 2 weeks to ensure that we have everything in place for a safe and welcoming opening on Monday. There will be many new routines to learn and we know that some of our students may be feeling mixed emotions about their return to school. Our staff are very aware of this and will be focussing on rebuilding our school community and supporting our students as they transition from an extended time at home back to in person learning.

Please see a list of our current staff posted in the staff tab-there have been several changes as a result of postings, expansions and reorganization.

Below is the link to our school entry plan developed with staff in accordance with the HWDSB protocols. The protocols were developed in conjunction with Public Health. Student safety is a priority for everyone here at Spring Valley. The plan will be changing as needed and as new information becomes available.
