Hold and Secure

Dear families,

This letter is to inform you that our school entered a Hold and Secure response today.

Hold and Secure requires the building to be secured and all persons to remain in the school due to an ongoing, non-school related situation in the surrounding area.

We became aware of an investigation in which it was believed suspect(s) fled to the area. We entered Hold and Secure as a precaution. Staff contacted families to let them know about the situation before they arrived for the day. The attending staff and children in child care were safe throughout.

Police lifted the Hold and Secure just after 11:30 a.m., at which time only two adult staff were in the building.
