Heat Advisory in Effect: Wednesday July 15, 2026

Please be advised that Hamilton Public Health Services has initiated a Heat Warning as of Wednesday July 15, 2026.

Heat Warnings stay in effect until they are cancelled or escalated to an Extended Heat Warning.  Click here to read more on the City of Hamilton website. 

Please note:  All HWDSB works spaces – including the Education Centre – remain open.   

We strongly advise precautions that include:  

- Limiting physical outdoor activities and wearing light breathable clothing.

- Ensuring access to cold drinking water.  

- Monitoring for heat stress.  

- Lowering blinds and window coverings.
