Fire Alarm Today – Thursday, June 2

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This letter is to inform you that today at South Meadow the fire alarm was triggered.

 As per the HWDSB Fire Safety Plan, we evacuated our school and called 911. No one was injured. The Hamilton Fire Department responded and inspected the school.  The fire alarm was a result of smoke coming from the oven in the daycare area.

We want you to know that student safety is of the utmost importance at South Meadow.  If you have any questions regarding this occurrence, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 905-594-0010.
