Lower Stoney Creek

The six elementary schools included in the Lower Stoney Creek accommodation review consist of Collegiate Avenue, Eastdale, Green Acres, Memorial (Stoney Creek), Mountain View and R.L. Hyslop, all of which graduate into Orchard Park Secondary School. All of the schools included in the accommodation review are located in west side of the planning area, which serve the more mature residential neighbourhoods of Lower Stoney Creek and the new residential development north of the QEW.

The accommodation review study area runs east from the Centennial Parkway to Fruitland Road and is bordered to the north by Lake Ontario and south by the escarpment. In 1998, Hamilton School Board and Wentworth County School Board amalgamated and since this time the six schools have been operated by HWDSB.
