PA Days – A reminder that although there are no classes on PA Days, our school office is open during regular hours for information and inquiries.
Pizza Days – Our Pizza Days have been successful and with the funds that we have raised, you have supported school excursions, athletics and literacy. As we look to September, our plan is to continue these days and add another lunch option such as subs or pitas on the alternate weeks and help families enjoy a weekly lunch program.
School Council – A thank you to our School Council members for their ongoing advocacy and work this year. Our hybrid model of meetings has been successful in allowing families to attend in person and online. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the new school year. Our AGM and first meeting date has been set for Wednesday, September 13 @ 6:30 pm.
Emotion Coaching – Emotion Coaching is a communication strategy that can calm the brain in as little as 60 seconds and help improve relationships. Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, and Hamilton Family Health Team invite parents and caregivers to explore Emotion Coaching in a 90-minute webinar, and if interested, a six-week parent/caregiver group for further learning. The last session will be held on June 6 from 6:30-8 p.m. – hwdsb.info/EC-June6
