Lice Screening – Lice Squad (Lice Screening and Removal for schools, camps and daycare (licesquad.com)), will visit Winona on Friday, April 28.  So as not to disrupt classes, the Lice Squad staff will go from room to room to perform their head checks.   For families that do not want their child to be screened, please communicate your wishes to your child’s teacher.  If lice are found, students will not be identified or separated in any way. Individual communication with the home will be discreet and letters will notify specific classrooms of the general presence of lice.

Spring Open House – We are excited to invite Winona families to our Spring Open House event.  Students will be showcasing their work and some of the things they have been involved in this year.  The Open House will include the School Council Pizza Booth, Winona Student Leaders Tuck Shop and a Scholastic Book Fair.  Looking forward to seeing everyone on May 4!

HWDSB Strategic Direction – HWDSB is looking for 20 community members to join a Co-Design Workshop to help shape HWDSB’s new Strategic Directions.  Visit the link to learn how to apply to join the workshop and help shape HWDSB’s next steps!
