Bus Riders: A Reminder

Hello Westwood Community!

Now that the sun is shining and the weather is warming up, some students may make the decision to walk home or find a different method of transportation.

Please note that it is the expectation of the school that all students that are assigned a seat on a bus take the bus.  No student can make the individual choice if they are going to walk home without the explicit consent from a legal guardian.

If your child wishes to walk home on a specific day and will not be taking the bus, the main office needs to know either through a phone call or a note in the school agenda.  This will ensure that all students are kept safe.

Also, if you decide to pick up your child from school and they normally take the bus, please notify the main office of this change.  This will help us account for all of our students at the end of the day.
