Westview is pleased to offer our students a conference day on Wednesday May 8th!  The theme of the conference is “United by our Differences!”  The day will open with a keynote speaker, Chris Vollum, who will discuss social media and explore with students positive ways to engage with various platforms ensuring they engage with online content that reflects their innate values and respect.  Following the keynote, students have the opportunity to participate in self-selected workshops from a variety of topics related to equity and mental health and well-being.  Our presenters include a variety of partners from the board, community and even some of our own students!  It promises to be an exciting day of learning and growing in our understanding of how our DIFFERENCES UNITE US!
