Ventilation Project Update

Dear families,
As you may know, HWDSB has engaged in work to improve ventilation at many schools for the 2021-22 school year, thanks to funding from the federal-provincial CVRIS-EDU program.
At HWDSB, this has brought the approval of about 235 projects including bottle-filling stations, touchless doors, water faucets, and ventilation improvements such as rooftop units or classroom units.
We are grateful for the attention that our school has received, and the importance that various levels of government have placed on school ventilation.
Much of this work was completed before students returned to school. Some projects, however, remain ongoing and will be completed by the end of December.
We regret the disruption that this ongoing work has caused some of our students and programming. This inconvenience is temporary. Please reach out to me with questions or concerns.
