Halloween Expectations

As we approach Halloween on Monday, we recognize that not all students celebrate and participate in this event. For students who choose to wear a costume, it will align with our school Code of Conduct. Costumes must not glorify negative historical figures or be disrespectful to any group of people, culture, religion and/or belief systems.

For safety reasons, costume masks that obscure student faces are not permitted. Items that depict violence and/or gore as well as props that mimic weaponry are not permitted.

We trust that our students will use good judgement and continue to celebrate in respectful and thoughtful ways.
