ConneXions is a three-credit program designed to teach students how everything in the world is interconnected with a focus on urban living. Examples of connections we discuss include plastic pollution in the oceans and the products we buy; wealth in Canada and Poverty in Central America or South-East Asia; growth of cities and life in rural areas; and the cultures we enjoy and the history of empires. The focus on urban living means we take 6 field trips in this program to Hamilton, Toronto, and Montreal. The total cost of the trips is $900.
