PINK SHIRT DAY

Hello everyone:

Wednesday, February 24 is Pink Shirt Day in Canada. We are encouraging all of our students and staff to wear pink on this day to show our support and committment to stop bullying. Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, took a stand against bullying after a new student in their school was harassed and threatened for wearing pink. We will all be focusing on kindness and tolerance and looking for ways to carry our learning on throughout our classrooms, school and community.
