New Spring Valley Delay – Repost of March 13 Letter

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board has been closely monitoring the construction of the new Spring Valley Elementary School on the current C.H. Bray site, in anticipation of a September 2020 opening.

We have determined that the school may not be complete in September 2020. We were working on an aggressive timeline to complete the school in under 12 months. It usually takes between 12 to 16 months to build an elementary school, and we will still finish the school within this timeframe.
