Our School

Spencer Valley is a K-8 school located on Old Brock Rd., just south of Hwy. 5 in Greensville.  Spencer Valley was constructed in 1968 on 8.34 acres of land.  Our feeder school is Millgrove and our students attend both Waterdown DHS and Dundas Valley Secondary.  We work closely with our elementary and secondary partners to ensure smooth transitions for our students. The school community includes both urban and rural families with 98 % of the students relying on transportation provided by the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board.
We are proud to host a Special Education class.

Spencer Valley has been designated a “Pathways” school where expertise is high and specialized equipment available to help provide a safe and secure environment for all of our “special” students.  The Spencer Valley staff offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for all students.  School teams, intramurals, a concert band, jazz band and junior band, a variety of clubs and Student Council all help to make Spencer Valley a busy and productive place.  Ours is a community school and we are enriched by the efforts of our caring, involved parents and guardians and by our community partners, the Greensville Optimists, and LaFarge.
