Our School

Sir Isaac Brock was named in honour of British General Sir Isaac Brock and was established in 1969.  The school has an open concept layout comprised of two groupings of four (4) classrooms and one (1) grouping of two (2) classrooms.  The groupings are junior and senior kindergarten classes, grades 1, 2, 3, and grades 4, and 5.  The classrooms are divided by partitions and are filled with approximately two hundred (200) students.  The school population is diverse as evidenced by a variety of cultural backgrounds, languages, and socio-economic levels.

Sir Isaac Brock is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood just north of Eastgate Square shopping center and close to Centennial Parkway and Queenston Road.  Few of our students live within the immediate neighbourhood.  Most students are transported to the school from four townhouse developments located at Barton and Kenora.  Another smaller group of students live in a new subdivision directly east of Greenhill and also receive transportation to school.  Kindergarten classes follow the full day schedule as a result of transportation.

The instructional day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 2:35 p.m.

Nutrition Break #1 – 9:55 a.m. to 10:35 a.m.

Nutrition Break #2 – 12:15 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.
