Information about Viral Meningitis

Dear Parents/Guardians,

A case of Viral Meningitis has been confirmed at the school on January 29, 2020.

Our school is following the Communicable Disease Procedure and Hamilton Public Health Services has been contacted.

All visitors are asked to report to the main office to sign in.

Hamilton Public Health Services have provided for parents a Viral (Aseptic) Meningitis Fact Sheet

This disease requires good hand hygiene practices to stop the spread of the disease. This may include the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, available in the main office.

Health information pertaining to a specific case is private information. We thank you for your cooperation.
