February 26 update

Thank you to everyone as we continue to navigate updated COVID information and protocols to keep everyone safe. While at school we continue to share reminders about wearing masks, staying physically distant and hand-washing/ sanitizing. We know that parking is a challenge and continue to reach out to HWDSB system staff when needed to keep our parking lot clear and safe. We are very grateful when families are able to either walk to school or park along Tuscarora Drive or Cayuga Avenue. Rousseau endeavours to be a good neighbour to residents living close to the school and with this in mind we remain thankful for everyone respecting the property of our neighbours as we park and travel around the community.

Families should have received an electronic version of their child’s Term 1 report card or Kindergarten Communication of Learning. Copies will be sent home with students on Thursday March 4th.

At our PA Day on March 5, Rousseau staff learning will align with the HWDSB Strategic Directions and Annual Plan. We will be spending time on Positive Culture and Well-Being as well as Student Learning and Achievement. There is no school for students on March 5.
