Update on septic work at Rockton

We want to provide the community with an update on the septic excavation underway at Rockton Elementary School.

This work does not affect our water supply.

All septic is being contained, pumped and trucked away during this work. There is no way for contaminants to enter the well, which is located about 150 feet away from the work.

In addition, our school’s drinking water passes through a UV disinfection system and is tested in accordance with the Ministry regulation twice a day by our licensed operators.
