Updates and Reminders for Parents/Guardians
Dear Families,
Just a few reminders for parents/guardians:
- Please go into the Parent Portal and complete the media consent form. Student verification forms will be coming out to the Parent Portal Shortly.
- Please continue to do the daily screener at home each morning for your child.
- Absences are to be entered using School Messenger.
- Please send your child to school with the I-Pad that they borrowed during the school closure if they borrowed one to learn from home.
- Please remind your child(ren) that we are a “hands off” school and that we do not tolerate any pushing or shoving of any kind.
- Please remember that parents may NOT park in the parking lot, especially at the end of the day. We also ask that parents do NOT block any entries/exits for our buses. Please continue to follow the signs that are posted.
- On Wednesday September 30th it is Orange Shirt Day. If you wish to do so, please send your child wearing an orange shirt. This day is in honour and memory of Residential School survivors.
- Our practice fire drills were a HUGE success today as students exited the building safety and quickly! We will be having our second fire drill next Monday.
